Peperomia Caperata Rosso Shipped in a rigid box May drop a few leaves in transit Placement Place your Peperomia in a room that gets a low to medium amount of natural light. She'll do well on an end table or bookshelf, or even your desk at work. Rotate the plant occasionally to encourage even growth. Light Requirements The Peperomia needs low to medium, indirect light. She can tolerate partial shade and will even grow under fluorescent lights. Avoid direct sunlight as it can burn the leaves. Watering Needs Water when the top several inches of soil are dry, about every other week. Water with fresh water lightly and slowly from above, allowing water to soak through to the roots, then tip out any excess water. Keep the leaves dry. Temperature Preferences Does well at room temperature between 60F - 77F. Cold temperatures should be avoided. Humidity Tolerance Prefers higher levels of humidity, around 75% or above, in summer months. In other months a normal humidity level is desired. Repotting Needs The plant can live happily in the provided pot for up to a year. Check if the plant is ready to be repotted by touching the soil and seeing if it has become loose, or if the roots have become overgrown. Repot using a rich, well-draining soil. You can also mix in perlite, sand, or gravel in with the soil to keep it from becoming too compact over time. - Out of Stock
