Shipped in a 6.5cm pot

Rebutia marsoneri is a small, solitary or freely clustering cactus with green depressed globose stems with conical tubercles spirally arranged and tipped with clusters of short bristly white spines.

The stems grow up to 2.8 inches (7 cm) in diameter.

Spines are brownish to golden yellow or white and usually with dark tips.

Each areole bears up to 30 spines, variable in length from 0.1 to 0.6 inches (0.3 to 1.5 cm).

The plant develops a large crop of flowers from the base of each stem.

The flowers are bright yellow to orange or orange-red, up to 2 inches (5 cm) long, up to 1.4 inches (3.5 cm) in diameter, and appear from around the base of the stem.

This species is one of the earliest Rebutias to flower in spring and has a long-lasting and continuous blooming period. -
